Doing Well, added distance 2 our nightly walk. The temps have come down in the morning. Logged 1hr 24min on the bike today. I will see how I feel tonight during our walk. If all is well, I will stay on the new path w/the Boy Dog. Lets Keep Rollin'

Life in Aug has been awesome!! Many B-Days this month, as you know. Pro Tour in Colorado. Friends & Family. And a massive 3 day Mt Bike Race here in GJ,CO.





As for my training w/the Boy Dog...... Its been Gr8!!

Him and I have added distance to our nightly walks/runs. My rides have been strong but relaxing at the same time. I am feeling my quads finally coming alive and producing power. Missed out on swimming this month but not worried at all. Fall and winter are better indoor swimming months then July and Aug. I feel as if I am able to catch myself sooner when I am hunched over or when my hips just arent open. Quick correction and the pace seems to double. The other night, I was relaxed while running next to Shadow Boy and he gave me that look like..... AWESOME HUMAN..... KEEP IT UP.... and I know he is totally diggin' it for sure.


So back to the race this weekend........ Clunker race downtown, Pro Men & Women Criterium for cash,  Wellness Expo, 4 live bands on main street Saturday, 40 mile mt bike race that starts AND ends on main street, and a beer garden as well. So far, 8 different states have signed up!!! Out Of State $$$$$$!!!

Life Is Good If You Are In Motion..... Out & About..... Feeling A Little Burn.... Making It Happen



This week went really well while training w/the Boy Dog. Our miles are adding up. Working both jobs this past week. Pretty much eating, working, walking The Boy, riding my bike, eating, & sleeping. Not a bad way 2 go. The above photos are the functional units that I have been relaxing during our walks/run. Keeping my posture up and in a line while my shoulders are relaxed and comfortable. Looking at picking up the pace and adding a little more 2 the route. The only problem that I am running into is time. I take the Boy Dog out just before sunset under cooler temps and by adding more distance, sleep comes much later. This only means that 6am comes much sooner..... This could be a good thing

We stayed in Red Cliff Colorado w/our friend Stacy and her dog Kal. Dinner was amazing as we ate Wild Sockeye, veggies, and salad. I walked the boy dog under a clear blanket of stars. Cant say Shadow & I slept all that much.

Nice Cool Aug..... So Far

The weather has been awesome so far in Aug. Clouds in the afternoon, morning showers, and cool breezes for most of the day. Shadow Boy and I walked/ran every night during the week days. I commuted to work on my bike and was thankful for my rain jacket that I carry. Life is good!!

During my walks w/the Boy Dog, we have picked up the pace for sure. I have been working on my posture while walking towards the west. Opening my feet before the strike, relaxing my hips, and breathing in order to loosening up my shoulders. This causes me to move my chin back and forth until my neck finds its happy place. The west travel is my warm up and my check in time. Our travels back east have become a walk a block and run a block intervals. Super stoked as the last week my knees didnt hurt afterwards and my hams are stretching and not pulling on my knees causing discomfort. I have been slowing down my warm ups, the stretching before and after, and adding more water than ever. These all equal = enjoyment!!!

Maybe..... Just Maybe..... I will register for an event soon.....Maybe..... More stretching 1st

The video is from my training day on Sunday along the Colorado River Trail. My down fall, after dumping the files on the sim card, I fail to empty my trash bin. That means my sim card was full and my video is short. I only time lapsed about 10min of my 1 and 35min ride........ oooooops


This week: Monday (2day) commuter bike running my errands. Bank, VC, & Post Office. I will ride              w/the BoB Trailer loaded up w/recycling on the old GT.

                 Tuesday: If I am not working, The Boy Dog & I will find a higher elevation!!!

                 Wed: Working & Walking

                 Thursday: Same w/a Radio Show At 6:30pm

                 Friday: Working & Walking
