As I climbed into the heat collecting celling for a simple retrofit , this is what waited for my happy A$$. My basic task at hand was to convert this old fluorescent light bulb to a new LED light fixture. Right 

What I discovered was the rats nest of what the flock of seagulls?? Take a closer look at that white wire just hanging on out there in free space. No Biggie

So I cut and diced my way on through and then tightened up all the loosey goosey action. I used a few proper wire nuts there and doubled checked that the green ground wire was secured AND grounded. Classic 

It's not like this little 110v would ever cause a fire or rhetoric mind you. But I definitely found this shabby work kind of odd. Now what really made this job extra fun , I perched myself about 10 feet / 3 meters off the ground AND over the swimming pool. As you can see below , my flashlight there in the top corner of the picture and the nice beautiful swimming pool down below. Hot Damn
