Photos Really Are Worthy Of A Thousand Words

Riders On The Storm     Into This House We're Born    Into This House We're Thrown    Like A Dog Without A Bone      An Actor Out On Loan     Riders On The Storm      There's A Killer On The Road   Take A Long Holiday     Let Your Children Play     If You Give This Man A Ride      Sweet Family Will Die    Killer On The Road  Yeah

The Doors

1971 L.A. Woman

ALIVE:

Waking up with a healthy smile from ear to ear is a game changer.

LIVE MUSIC:

Catching live outdoor shows has been a real luxury.

Single Track As Far As The Eye Can See

Dogs that are regularly exercised are happy dogs. Hands Down Paws Up

Every morning, while I refuel with homemade yogurt, granola, and a mix of nuts, this guy awaits. Not sometimes, every morning. A Trustworthy Companion

DISC GOLF:
The mountain offers a challengingly fantastic 18 basket disc golf course with commanding views along the way back down the ski run.

MONSOON:

The monsoon patterns are rolling across the state again. Thanx Mother Nature

This bolt above struck so close to me that the electricity confused my aperture.  See that straight "light" line across the frame. Wicked Thrilling Strikes

MARKET:

There is this house on the market for $29.4 million dollars or $21.5 million Pounds! It's difficult for me to even wrap my mind around the POINT 4 but this mansion is move-in ready and furnished. You know, let us just buy this one AND the house next door.

On the back deck is not ONE hot tub but two hot tubs with dreamscape views from ether wrap around deck. So I ride as surreptitious as possible to the empty neighborhood in the evenings, the late night evenings, to take advantage of the one 103F / 39.4C six person tub. Full On Stealth Mode

And those evening views are spectacular. The tiny little twinkling lights from the town way down below. The Milky Way shined across the sky from North to South. Not a noise coming from any direction. A perfect way to relax and simply be. Plus, it is all downhill back to my place where the dogs greet me with excitement. Always Happy They Are

And sunsets??? Nothing like watching an hour long setting sun rolling down the backside of a mountain range. Magical sun rays cascading back up into the clear mountain air. Mesmerizing

GOALS:

  1. Working With A Purpose
  2. Find Or Borrow Someones Riding Legs
  3. Weigh In
  4. Discovery Of Others Laughing
  5. Write Down Intentions While Sipping A Cup Of Morning Joe

Leaving You With Positive Vibes,

Cheers

  10. The best thing about canine buddies, apart from the fact they are gorgeous, is that they never let you down 💜 Stunning series of images once again Padre, your composition choices are superb. Loved the weather shots, could almost smell the rain on the hot tar road, better than any perfume. Good luck with this month's goals, I have definitely been working with a purpose these last weeks :)

  11. I agree that dogs that are regularly exercised are happy dogs. They enjoy the movement...and it is great they make is move and exercise more. One of heath benefits of having a dog. Love your photos with the dogs.

Sorry to hear about the moonson weather...that bolt of lighting looks really close.

    2. they must be cool dogs. When I was renting a room as a student, my landlady's dog would come in my room and climb into my bed every time there were bolts or lighting, it was so funny.

That is one of my favorite Doors tunes...I didn't know he was buried in Paris till recently. Sad truth. Hope the rest of your stay there is as good as it has be SOME in congress saying "corporations would have to close their doors if they paid wages of $15 an hr" this is why they can't, because their vacation home is $24 mil. Enjoy yourself.

  15. Dearest Travis,
Wow, you are quite a biker using that single track and really uphill! Noticed your elevation gain on Strava. It is hard work, we both know from our hills here, but the downhill ride is always making up for the sweat.
Guess humans are also behaving quite different when exercising often in fresh air! People that not yet have discovered that, are missing out on life.
You are daring for going to use that hot tub! No doubt a fabulous experience, including the downhill ride back to your loyal canines.
Keep going and enjoy the season as summer is about to wrap it all up once again. We're still enjoying the fresh cherries, summer's best fruits but soon they will be gone...
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  28. Whenever I see houses that are selling for ridiculous amounts of money, I always think--who needs that much house? And what did that person do to make so much money? I personally don't think it's right that people who do an honest day's work get paid so little, while some guy who's 'making money' gets his rewards. We're up at the lake and some of these lake homes are ridiculous, sitting next to the typical little cabins that used to line the shores. I'm content with what I have. All that money seems so complicated, right?
