I am writing this post while listening to Best Remixes of 70's & 80's Popular Songs. My Mind Is Synthesized


CYCLING:

Damn it's hot out!! Multiple days over triple digits but the cooler mornings of 60F/15.5C makes for an ideal atmosphere. And those remarkably colorful sunrises!!! And That Comet NEOWISE Is Breath Taking!! Phuc Yes!! Here is a PHOTO taken from The National Monument in Grand Junction Colorado. Way Cool

Reflection In Time
Despite whining about rising temperatures, I was pounded with rain for about 12 minutes. A perfect Western Slope Monsoonal Flow developed over me on Sunday. The cooler temp was refreshing and quite rewarding. I camped out under a tree, Breaking The Golden Rule, during the heaviest of it. Within 15 minutes, Mother Nature moved on and my path was bone dry. I Rode On

WORKING:

Funny how life works. Two curiously informed neighbors reached out about the appearance and handy work dividends from my yard work duties/efforts. I always want to respond with," See What Wasting Precious Water Can Do?" But I never so. I just smile and stay humble. But really, why the Phuc in 2020 are we still growing grass above 2,000ft?? Anyway, this "pride" has offered three more seasonal jobs. Not my first choice for employment but cash is cash.

The Latest Acrylic Offering 
So I now mow and water two homes next to the housing gig I am currently attending to. The one yard is a communal yard so that makes sense and is fairly simple. Straight forward yards are much quicker in the long run. Elegance Of Simplicity

The beginning is the pervious hour kids program, then a spooky history lesson regarding Elvis, and then I start off the show with a Dub Reggae Track. A silky 3 hours of Groove over Global for a Sunday morning program. The interactions with callers and texting friends was beyond satisfying. Damn Good People In The World

    I like the 70-80's music too. I would not like to be riding a bike in monsoonal rain. We have had days of hot and humid weather, very dry here too.     the daily heat inspires us to rise early and catch the cooler temperatures. but not quite as early as you!! we have had 2 really good rides and i have not fallen (insert smiley face)!!!

    i love some of the current music but 70's is definitely my favorite. i really enjoy amazon music, listening to my high school favorites!!

    loved the video, what awesome scenery. mother nature is indeed glorious!! great goals...5, 8 & 9, my favorites!!!

    Love the painting! And yeah, you're right about grass. I've never understood the appeal of a big lawn. We have a small one and we probably wouldn't even have that if we weren't renting. (It's getting smaller all the time as we enlarge the planting beds!)

    What a great video! Having and seeing grass and lawn is good for human souls. Architects and urban planners create interesting public spaces and there are always mixed views. Put down a grassed area and people will flock to it.

      So With All Respect There Drew, Public Parks Have Nothing To Do With My Point - I Am Referring To Front Yards On The North End Of The Street - Yard That Never See A Chair Or An A$$ - I Mean The Front Yards Of Homes That Waste Hundreds Of Gallons Of Water And Then The Homeowner Bitches About Walking Behind The Mower And General Macitence - Grass Island Down The Middle Of The Street??? How Many Apartments Have Grass Outside And Nobody Takes Advantage Of It - Maybe Stand On It During The 4th Of July

      I Truly Understand The Older Generation Finding Comfort In Seeing Lawns But Us Kids Realize The Importance Of Conservation Over "good for human souls" Aspect - I Do Completely Disagree With " put down grassed area and people will flock to it" Concept And Will Back That Up With Photos - Along The River, A New Town Lazy River Was Built - Everyone Has Taken Advantage Of It - The City Added Comforting Grass Along All The Sidewalks And Nobody Uses It - Picnics Are Held Under Shade Structures Or Along The Banks

      Again, This Is Not A Personal Attack On You!! Its The Fact That The Mighty Colorado River Is Disappearing At An Alarming Rate, Grassed In Yards At 4,800ft Is Absurd, And Alternative Functional Options Are Rather Attractive

    I am a huge fan of 70's and 80's sounds too...those are my favourite decades for music. I don't think they will ever be rivalled!😊😊
    WOW, I'd love to go cycling in a monsoonal downpour. I have never tried anything like that before...but give me time!!😉
