RIVER:

As I have previously mentioned , the Mighty Colorado Stream is the lowest cubic feet per second that I have ever witnessed in 26 years from living here on the western slope of Colorado. Shocking Reality 

Last year , when I virtually made the same statement , analyze these two photos for a little tasty comparisons. Yikes 

July 4th 2024 !!! not 2025. But notice how it's a sandy beach in the background above. And down below , no cobble stones to mention. Rock Horror Water Show 

And then below , this photo was captured June of 2025 and those river rocks were just beginning to raise up and say hello. And take notice to the darker sand from when the water level had significantly dropped during that particular weekend. WoW 

And below in 2026 , its all mud and stones all the way across the river. Bummer 

This "beach" below sits pretty much in the smack dab middle line of the lapping river. That's right , it is land ho between the two branches of waterlines. The left channel is too low to float and where I stood for all of those photos was a butt bumping good time. Shot some video for a sound track over future time lapse videos as well. Cheese 

More before and after photos of our tiny little creek that caters to Smelly A California. This first photo scared me good as I could see the bottom river rocks between these bridge pillars. And hopefully the artist returns to finish these Wizard of Oz Characters. That Would Be Cool

DOGS:

I just love dogs. I especially love good dogs. Happy dogs are the best. dog Dog DOGS 

Definitely enjoying walking Mesa Girl and connecting to our community again. Perceiving those delicious smells from backyard BBQ's , experiencing the temperature changes between sprinklers and pavement , and all while savoring the simple act of my body in motion. Just Walking 

And of course Mesa Girl cherished the daily rub downs , the extra yum yums in her food bowl , and all those just because walks in the wheeeeee evenings as well. Such A Good Girl 

JAMES:

This one hurt for sure. James Burrows passed away. I wasn't a big fan of Friends but was well informed of each episode. Back in the day , during that first season hype , all my workmates were Gaga Goo Goo over friends. Just like everyone else was when that show hit the airwaves. But CHEERS , loved that show ! Taxi , still love that show ! Night Court , Brilliant ! Had no idea that James directed the pilot episodes of Two And A Half Men And the Big Bang Theory. And technically , didn't realize he had made numerous cameos in well known movies and television shows. For me , it just hurts my heart as more and more "famous" names/people shuffles off this mortal coil. Yes , part of my youth and it bums me out as I face my own mortality. Grim Reaper Stands Near By 

FIRE:

Flipping Yuck. Utah began to explode under tender conditions and our happy little valley became inundated with apocalyptic scenes. So totally sucks the phat one. Big Time

And then , the state line between us & them ignited. Bad flipping news as the JONES fire is going to be a monster for sure. That is one desolate region and it is all crispy fuel for the fast paced fire. Oh , and the lack of water issue but they should have listened to The Donald and raked the forest. Knuckledusters 

It is a rather remote location , hasn't burn , well , maybe ever. Our humidity is 5% , our winds have hit 61mph / 98 kph , and the temperature reads 97º / 36C here in GJ. And Thanx Brother Reed for the degree icon. Who knew , option zero for the degree symbol. All I can say is that I am Phu-N stoked to be departing in about 3 hours from now. Dynamite
